
Robert T. Roth, M.D., F.A.C.S.
A native of Michigan, Dr. Roth received his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan and his medical degree from Michigan State University. He then relocated to Washington, D.C., where he completed his general surgery residency and a fellowship in surgical critical care at The Washington Hospital Center.
Dr. Roth is certified by the American Board of Surgery in both general surgery and surgical critical care. Dr. Roth is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a diplomate of the American Board of Surgery. He is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the American Medical Association and the Pinellas County Medical Society.
Dr. Roth worked as an attending general and trauma surgeon before entering private practice. He offers expert care in all aspects of general surgery. His areas of interest include laparoscopic, oncologic, endocrine and gastrointestinal surgery, as well as critical care medicine.
