Christina Munford, M.D.

Dr. Christina Munford was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. She completed her undergraduate studies at University of Missouri in Kansas City. She received her medical degree from the University of Kansas, and completed her residency training in general surgery at the Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia where she was elected by her peers as the chief administrative resident.

During her residency she has been involved in extensive training in all aspects of general surgery. She has developed a special expertise in minimally invasive surgery including advanced laparoscopic and robotic techniques. She also brings a unique interest and expertise in the diagnosis and management of women with breast disease. She is looking forward to enhancing the surgical care and health of the community.

Dr. Munford values strong patient relationships and has served on several community outreach programs. In her spare time, she enjoys her dogs and exploring Florida’s many recreational opportunities.
